Insurer's Choice

Tech Decisions, a National Underwriter Company publication for carriers and Financial Insights, an IDC company, have opened the survey for the second annual Insurer's Choice technology ranking. This online survey is now closed. Results will rank technology providers specializing in the insurance industry across several categories and be published in May 2009.

Decided by insurance companies in the United States and Canada, the annual ranking showcases insurance technology providers across several categories, including: insurance operations, developing products, optimizing workflow and analytics. The results will include both the life and health insurance market, as well as the property and casualty market. New for Insurer's Choice 2009 will be a satisfaction ranking for the technology firms in each category. The results will also reflect which technology firms are the top "up-and-coming" technology providers to the insurance marketplace as perceived by the carriers themselves.

Insurance carriers responding to the survey will determine the rankings which will be announced in May 2009 at the annual ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum May 17, 2009, in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Financial Insights is driving the survey methodology, data collection and analysis process for the rankings.

The editors of TechDecisions, the research directors at Financial Insights, and the management team at the Williams Mills Agency thank you for your assistance and cooperation in being a part of the Insurer's Choice ranking for 2009.
